In the kitchen

I made aprons and chef hats for the kids for their Christmas presents (from me) this year. Kate also received a cakepop maker from an anonymous person (thank you). All the kids were thrilled and wanted to get started with cooking right away. I gave them a cake recipe and told them to get started, while I just sat back and enjoyed watching them learn.

Through this experience, I learned that I love independent children and my kids are growing up way too fast. I think they are so adorable trying to read the recipe and figure out what everything means. I loved watching them try to problem solve and work through their interpersonal conflicts. And I thought they were just adorable in the aprons and hats!
