Well, his b-day was a week ago, but it still counts. He
went for his wc today. He weighs 52 pounds, and is 3'9" tall. He loves
riding his bike out back. He has an incredible imagination and is such a great
public speaker! He loves to share his testimony every fast Sunday and has a
part in the primary program in a week. He is VERY excited about it. One thing
that he loves to do now that will embarrass him when he is older is singing
primary songs in the bathroom. He can really belt out the music in there! He
actually sings louder than most of the primary put together. He loves to sing!
He hopes to learn how to play the piano soon. He has an amazing memory and can
remember the simplest details for months/years. He is such a sweetie and always
thanking me for everything and complementing others all the time. On his
birthday, he thanked me for the cupcakes, for the presents, and for helping him
come into the world. Seriously. Ok, so it wasn't all on his own. The week
before, he kept telling me how excited he was for his b-day, b/c of all the
presents he would get. I was tired of hearing all the selfishness, so I told
him that b-days were NOT about presents or even about yourself, they were all
about remembering your mother and all the hard work she had to do to bring you
into this world, that without your mother and all that she has done you
wouldn't be here, so your birthday is a day to thank your mother. I was saying
it half-jokingly, but I guess he took me seriously and REMEMBERED TO THANK ME!
What an adorable boy! I really love him and am so grateful that he is my son.
He makes me a better person.
