I couldn't get a picture with Ethan not squinting. I guess the morning sun reflection was a bit bright for his sensitive eyes. Also, notice his teeth. He had his braces taken off the day before he started school. His teeth look so shiny and white to me.
The girls love their school and their teachers. Kate even begs her teacher for more homework every day. She thinks it is funny that all the "public school kids" complain when they have homework. I think it is even funnier that she calls them public school kids, not realizing that she is one now, too. They are both making lots of friends and doing well in their classes.
Now it is just V and me at home during the day. It feels pretty weird, especially when I try to entertain her. She usually has so many people around that she doesn't want to be around me unless she is hungry. Now she just follows me around everywhere. I try to give her toys to play with and she grabs them and then follows me around with her toys. I really wish she would talk. It would probably make it a little easier to play with her if I knew what was going on inside her cute little head.
This picture just cracks me up. It was probably our 3rd or 4th try at it. The flash is too bright and she is trying to force her eyes to stay open. Immediately after taking the pictures she turns my phone around to see how it turned out.
Here she is enjoying the rain. We have actually had a few really nice rainy days this past week. She just loves playing in the water. She is a puddle jumper. Anytime she sees a puddle on the sidewalk, she pulls me over to it so she can walk through it. She just loves being wet!
