I just updated the diaper tutorial with all the pics, so
hopefully it will be a little easier to understand.
Also, a lot of people have been asking for updates on Ryan's Dental School applications. He applied to 5 schools. Of those 5, 1 has denied him, 1 said their class is already full, 2 have interviewed him and 1 is still interviewing in-state students. Of the 2 schools that he interviewed with, neither have denied or accepted him. He is on the waiting list. Basically, they go on a rolling admission, so those that apply early have the best chances of getting in. When you interview with a school, you are put on a list of either high, medium or low ranking. When Dec 1 came around, those that were already on the high list got their acceptance letters (those that did well in the interview and applied during summertime). If they turned down the school's offer, the school goes to the next person on the list. They keep doing this until the class is full (usually April). So, even if you are better qualified than someone else, it all goes by when you applied and which of the 3 lists you are on. We are just keeping our fingers crossed that he gets in his first year applying, rather than 2nd/3rd year like most people. Either way, we know he will get in, we just might have to wait a little while before he starts the next 4 years of his life.
