I love you

I have the sweetest, most compassionate daughter anyone has ever known. Kate is always writing love notes and giving gifts to people. Recently, she wrote (in dry-erase marker) "I love you From Kate" all over our bathroom mirror. I frequently find love notes from her throughout the house. My only hope is that I am able to show her even a fraction of the love that she shows for everyone else. That kid has more love in her little finger than most people have in their whole being.

Her Kindergarten teacher can't get enough of her. She is just a doll at school. Aimee and I were walking on the school campus last week and another parent passing by stopped me to ask if Aimee was Kate's sister. She then proceeded to tell me how much she loved Kate and how sweet she was.

Sweet Kate would not let me see on the other side of her in this picture. I think she is hiding a little something from me. Kate has the power to do much good in the world around us. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole world knew her and loved her when she eventually grows into a sweet old woman. I am so thankful that I have the chance to be your mom! I love you, sweet princess Kate.
