The other day, I found Aimee having a tea party with her dolls. She had wedged the dolls between the table and chairs so that they could reach the table. It was quite adorable seeing her serve "tea" to her dolls and talk to them as though they were best friends.
She finally outgrew her car seat this month, so we transitioned her into a booster seat this week. The first time she got to ride in the van in her new booster, she talked about how great it was. After talking a bit she said, "Wow, is my voice...? my voice... it's so low." It was hilarious to see her so excited about a new seat and feeling so grown up.
