Little V is almost 5 months now. Wow! How time flies! She is learning by leaps and bounds right now. She is an absolute doll!
Just recently, she has started to show her excitement when I pick her up. She deliberately grabs at both sides of my face, sometimes grabbing my chin, other times my ears or my cheeks and squeals as she gives me a huge open mouth kiss. I just love it!
She has been rolling over from her back to her stomach for a few weeks now. She has more difficulty rolling from her belly to her back and has only done it accidentally a few times.
She is working on pulling her legs under herself, but still has no idea what to do with her arms. Sadly, she ends up pushing herself across the floor with her face shoved into the carpet.
She has been laughing since about 3 1/2 months and has pretty much figured it out now. It makes my heart burst with love every time she laughs.
Grabbing her toes while she is laying down on her back seems to be her favorite pastime right now. It's amazing how flexible babies are!
She actually sleeps pretty well, as long as she isn't stuffy. I usually put her to bed at 7:30 and typically she wakes for her first feeding anywhere between 12:30 and 3:30. Some nights I'm coherent enough to make sure she gets back in her bed, other nights I end up letting her eat until the morning. She actually takes 2 naps during the day if we are lucky enough to be home, but she requires at least one long nap to make sure she's not crabby in the evenings.
Her 4 month stats (I know it's a month late):
Weight: 14lbs 7oz -75%
Height: 25.25inches -75%
Head Circumference: 39.5cm -10%
